• Owner Education:  M.S.E. in Geotechnical Engineering: University of Washington – 2004.  B.S. in Applied Geology:  Western Washington University – 1990.
• Member of WOSSA (Washington Onsite Sewage Association).  WOSSA is an advocacy group for the industry and a source of education for septic designers, installers, inspectors, and the general public.
• 18 year employee of Mt. Rainier National Park as a “backcountry carpenter” or “mason”.  Completely restored many historic CCC structures.
• Designer and Builder of the first truly “GREEN” spec. home in Whatcom County. 
• Contractor or involved in the building trade for over 20 years.
