Historical Preservation Construction

This is a company favorite and the owner’s specialty.  The owner, Bearrach (Barry) McMonagle was employed for 18 years by the National Park Service at Mt. Rainier National Park.  Here he primarily worked as a “backcountry carpenter” and restored many historic structures primarily built by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC).

These structures were mostly constructed during the era of the Great Depression.
Historic structures restored by the owner of this company include:

  • 3 – Lakes Patrol Cabin
  • Indian Henry’s Patrol Cabin
  • Hunter Cabin (Death Valley National Park)
  • Tolmie Fire Lookout
  • Chinook Arch PNT Bridge
  • Narada Falls Horse Bridges
  • Panorama Point Comfort Station
  • Sunbeam Creek Wonderland Trail Bridge

Currently (2014) our company is restoring a home (built 1910) in Bow, Washington.  This project has just started and we are seeking funding. Many privately owned unique and older structures can be considered historic for 3rd party restoration funding.  This company can direct you in your search for restoration capital.

We bid these jobs or we work on a time and materials basis on these projects.
